Reactive to Responsive - Hub 2025

Whippet Wonders Reactivity Content

Course Summary

I remember having a very reactive dog well, I dreaded walking Marley for fear of his reactivity to dogs, humans, children, joggers you name it! It was embarrassing, but mostly I felt so bad for him, dogs are meant to enjoy their walks. He seemed to find them anything from enjoyable though at that time. BUT it doesn't need to be this way. You can enjoy calmer walks with your whippet.

Throughout the last 14 years I've worked with and lived with whippets I've found the skills and techniques they thrive on to help owners return to more peaceful walks.  Marley helped to teach me the key to sighthound specific training when if came to reactivity and why we needed to add other skills to help overcome sensitivity and a lack of emotional control.

Learn the skills to help get your confidence back, and create your dogs confidence and calm in the world outside with the Reactive to Responsive SOS self paced course.

Giving you skills for the real world, as well as skills to help your Whippet handle everyday life within the world of being reactive. Getting insights into the breed and sighthounds and why they can be more prone to problems on walks.
